CHULA VISTA NORTE
Chula Vista Norte is a luxurious residential fraccionamiento located at Libramiento 97, San Antonio Tlayacapan, Chapala. Many of the homes have expansive lake or mountain view or both. The complex has well maintained adoquin paved roads i.e. no cobble stone roads.
Chula Vista Norte is a gated community with 24/7 entrance control. It is located close to many amenities like shops, restaurants and hospitals. Guadalajara airport is a 40 minute drive away.
A fraccionamiento is a development in which the infrastructure, streets and services have been handed over to the municipality which has to maintain these plus provide public services.
VISTA ALEGRE
Vista Alegre is an upmarket gated community located at Libramiento 145, Chapala. Many of the homes have lake or mountain view or both.
Residents enjoy 24/7 access control, a pool, tennis courts, a club house and wide well maintained brick paved roads.
The Laguna Mall and the main grocery stores are close by as are restaurants and hospitals. The Guadalajara airport is a 35/40 minute drive away.

CIELO VISTA
Cielo Vista is an upmarket gated community located at Libramiento 399, Chapala. It consists of a mix of traditional and modern homes and offers residents multiple amenities: a pool, gym, tennis court and library. The clubhouse may also be reserved for private functions.
There is 24/7 controlled access. The homes in the higher sections have lake and mountain view. The HOA is low.
Shops and a gas station are close by as are restaurants and hospitals. The airport is a 35/40 minute drive away.
BIRDS OF PARADISE, AVES DEL PARAISO
Birds of Paradise is a gated community located at Libramiento 100, Chapala. It was built in 1997 and consists of 62 condominiums. Each is around 950 – 1000 sq ft and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Residents can enjoy a pool, gym, club house and communal laundry.
Birds of Paradise is an excellent community for part time resident owners as units are reasonably priced and in high demand as month by month rentals for visitors of Ajijic/Lake Chapala. The website of Birds of Paradise has a rental section.

EL DORADO
El Dorado is a gated community located at Libramiento 117, San Antonio Tlayacapan and consists of 59 free standing homes and a residential tower with 37 condos.
Residents can enjoy a pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, gym and large roof top terrace with amazing views.
Some of the homes also have lake and/or mountain view and several have a mirador.
All amenities are close by – Riberas Hospital is across the road – and there is a small road next to the complex which gives easy pedestrian access to some restaurants and Superlake, one of the grocery stories frequented by expats.
